A successful mentoring relationship requires active participation from both the mentor and the mentee. This course is designed specifically for mentees and serves as the companion course to the Mentor training program. It provides participants with the knowledge, tools, and expectations needed to build a productive mentoring relationship and make the most of the learning opportunities that mentoring provides.
Throughout this course, participants will learn how to effectively work with a mentor and actively participate in their own professional development journey. The course explores the purpose of mentoring, the roles and responsibilities of both mentors and mentees, and the importance of maintaining open communication, trust, and mutual respect throughout the relationship.
Participants will learn strategies for setting goals, tracking progress, and maximizing learning opportunities while working alongside their mentor.
