Idaho State Approved Courses
In Idaho, early childhood educators working in licensed child care programs are required to complete 16 hours of annual training. These hours must cover core areas such as health and safety, child development, behavior guidance, and professionalism. Training is tracked through the IdahoSTARS Professional Development System, which also supports educators through scholarship access, career pathway levels, and quality improvement initiatives.
