Oklahoma State Approved Courses

Oklahoma requires staff in licensed child care facilities to complete 20 hours of annual professional development. Topics must include child development, health and safety, and positive guidance strategies. Oklahoma’s CECPD (Center for Early Childhood Professional Development) administers the professional registry and tracks training through the state’s QRIS, known as Reaching for the Stars.
