Indiana State Approved Courses

Indiana requires early childhood educators in licensed centers to complete 12 hours of professional development annually. Mandatory topics include universal precautions, child abuse recognition, safe sleep, and basic child development. Educators in Paths to QUALITY™ (Indiana’s QRIS) programs must meet additional training standards focused on instructional quality, family engagement, and child assessment.
