West Virginia State Approved Courses
In West Virginia, child care staff must complete at least 15 clock hours of training annually, including training in child development, health and safety, emergency procedures, and nutrition. The state uses the WV State Training and Registry System (WV STARS) to track hours and qualifications, and supports advancement through career pathway levels and QRIS participation.
