South Dakota State Approved Courses
South Dakota’s training system is coordinated through six Early Childhood Enrichment (ECE) Centers that support professional growth. Licensed staff must complete 6–20 training hours annually, depending on program type and role. Required areas include behavior guidance, safety and sanitation, and program planning. Many programs also work within the South Dakota Pathways career development system.
