Montana State Approved Courses

Montana requires child care staff to complete 16 hours of approved training annually, including required courses in preventing shaken baby syndrome, safe sleep, and emergency procedures. Educators also participate in the Montana Early Childhood Project (ECP), which offers a registry system and supports tiered credentialing through training and coursework alignment with the Montana Early Learning Standards.
