Utah State Approved Courses

Utah requires staff in licensed child care programs to complete a minimum of 20 hours of annual training. Required topics include guidance and discipline, health and safety, and emergency preparedness. Utah also promotes participation in the Career Ladder system and the Care About Childcare database for ongoing development and resource access.
