Nevada State Approved Courses

Nevada requires licensed child care staff to complete 24 hours of approved professional development each year. Topics must include CPR/first aid, child abuse recognition, behavior guidance, and classroom safety. Educators must track their training through the Nevada Registry, which also supports educator credentialing and participation in the Silver State Stars QRIS system.
